Devan Big Bin
The Devan Big Bin is designed specifically for the meat, hide and other process industries that have a requirement for a cost effective total containment system.
Unlike metal bins which incur high maintenance costs, the Devan Big Bin will not rust, dent or need repainting - making it virtually maintenance-free. Its large 1.3 cubic metre capacity, tough twin wall construction and its inherent light weight design, pushes on-going transportation costs down even further. Its actual manufacturing process encorporates the very latest techniques in computer controlled one-piece rotational moulding technology, which achieves a STRESS-FREE state in our bins. If required, this technology enables us to vary wall thickness and material grade with precision and ease, making custom-made bins affordable even on small limited runs.
Features
The Devan Big Bin is designed for strength, practicality and flexibility. Its base acts as a forklift pallet but also interlocks with other bins when stacked. They are easily cleaned because of the qualities of polyethylene and our design that utilises radiused corners throughout.
If specified, we can include an optional drainage system that permits draining from any level, fixed or variable. This is specially useful in the hide processing industry, or whenever fluid drainage is required without necessarily tipping the bin.
The Lid
An optional matching lid is available to prevent spilling or contamination during transportation and storage. The lid has purpose designed ribs to make it stronger and to give a positive "grip" when strapping either in singles or in groups. Just like the bin, it boasts twin wall construction.
The Material
The Devan Big Bin is manufactured from internationally sourced specifically formulated polyethylene. This material has been developed and tested in the market place over many years for the manufacture of upright storage containers. The polyethylene cannot rot or corrode, and is UV stabilised for New Zealand conditions. It is available in a wide range of colours - ideal for colour coding and company or product type identification.
Mould-on Graphics
As another option to bin identification, we can also "mould-on" your company logo or any other graphic label on the bin. These graphics will not peel, rub-off or fade thereby ensuring the purpose and ownership of your investment.
Durability
The radiused corners on our bins have greater wall thickness overall, making these vulnerable areas the strongest sections in our bins. And as for the top rim lip, we simply make this section completely solid! That's hard wearing, long lasting strength!
