Devan DW9000 Brochure |
The DB9000 is a large multi-chambered household system, fitted with a specially designed effluent filter on the outlet of the primary chamber which reduces suspended solids by up to 93%. It uses a flow balance surge control to avoid shock loading. An air blower is used for the extended aeration process and for the return of activated sludge.
The DB9000 has four separate chambers, with a total system operating capacity of 6220 litres to ensure the best possible treatment of wastewater as it passes through the system. This prevents short circuiting of the liquid, known as cross flow contamination. It also has a large wetted surface area of purpose-made biological filtration media in the aeration chamber to encourage growth of aerobic bacteria for the digestion of organic matter. Final effluent filtration achieves a clear liquid, which can be used for irrigation of landscapes, and saves on the use of valuable clean water, especially in rural situations where rainwater is the main source for watering gardens.
Quality
The system design and effluent quality meets the AS/NZ Standards, and is recognised internationally. Production of the system in quality controlled premises, guarantees that every DB9000 system is consistently produced to a high standard for supply.
Technology
The research, development and technology that has been incorporated into the DB9000 has clearly identified it as being a market leader in wastewater treatment. With continual advances within the plumbing and drainage industry to produce better performing, lightweight materials, it was only a matter of time before industry proven polyethylene would be used effectively in sewage and wastewater treatment systems. The upgraded DB9000 has been designed for easy installation and transportation to site. Each vessel has been deisgned with high strength lifting eyes to take certified shackles for lifiting to site by a helicopter.
Durable, economical, lightweight and adaptable for all situations were the criteria for the design of the Devan Plastics’ wastewater systems. Years of research and development has now produced an effective, technically advanced, yet simple household wastewater treatment system. The high quality effluent can be recycled for irrigation, minimising any adverse effects on the environment. Simplistic, easy to install electrical requirements also allow for low maintenance and low running costs.
Expertise
Devan Plastics has extensive practical experience associated with the environmental, sewage and wastewater treatment industry. Our aim is to produce the very best wastewater treatment system and support it with the very best service available. We offer a high quality sewage treatment system, designed for your use, even in the most sensitive environment. A New Zealand wide network of trained technicians and drainlayers is available to you for ongoing sales, service, enquiries and support. We pride ourselves in constantly looking at new and innovative ways to produce a wastewater treatment system that is not just cost effective to the home owner, but also designed to produce a high quality grade effluent discharge, which can benefit the home owner’s plants.
